#1 Shri Siddhivinayak Temple

The Siddhivinayak temple is amongst the most famous prehistoric temples devoted to Lord Ganesh. It was constructed in 1801 in Mumbai.  It is situated at S.K. Bole Marg in Prabhadevi in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Siddhivinayak is also popular as “Navsala Pavnara Ganpati” or else “Navsacha Ganpati”.

The Siddhivinayak temple is the richest temple in the Mumbai city. It receives about hundred million to one hundred fifty million rupees each year. About twenty-five worshipers throng the temple to urge their prayers and ask for the grace of Lord Shri Ganesha. The most meaningful day that believed to be for “Darshan” or “Puja” is Tuesday.

#2 ISKCON Temple

ISKCON temple – one of the most famous temples in Mumbai – close to the Juhu beach in Mumbai. The temple is formally called as Shri Shri Radha Rasabihari Temple. The ISKCON foundation constructed the temple. In 1978, Swami Prabhupada endorsed the ISKCON temple around four acres land. It was also famous as Hare Krishna Land.

ISKCON Juhu temple observes Satsang on daily basis on different Vedic testament along with everyday classes and programs.

Shree Mahalakshmi temple is located on Bhulabhai Desai Road at breach candy, Mahalakshmi area, Mumbai. The temple is named after Goddess MahalakshmiThe temple consists of 3 statues known as Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Maha Saraswati.  The main statue is of Goddess Mahalakshmi.

During “Navratri” millions of believers gather this holy place to see the revels.

#4 Swaminarayan Temple

The Swaminarayan Mandir is in Bhuleshwar region of Mumbai. It is a part of Swaminarayan Sampraday. It is above hundred year’s ancient temple in Mumbai. In 1868 Ranchhoddas Pranjeevandas assembled the original the Swaminarayan Mandir in Mumbai Vaishakh Shukla Ekadashi onwards.

He broke and renovated his own house to construct the temple. Today’s temple has a triple crest building and the well- known idols of Gaulokvihari and Radha, Hari Krishna Maharaj, Lakshminarayan Dev and Ghanshyam Maharaj.

#5 Babulnath Temple

The Babulnath Temple is in South Malabar Hill close to the Marin Drive and Girgaum Chowpatty. The temple has Lord Shiva who takes shape a Babul tree. The Babulnath Mandir was constructed in 1780. It is located at height of about one thousand ft.

On Maha Shivratri many followers of Lord Shiva come to this temple for blessings. When the temple was refurbished, five unique murtis extended.
